Who we are

A young company, run with old-fashioned discipline.

Bearcat Agriventure Corporation was founded in 2025 to do one thing properly: grow healthy broiler chickens in Iloilo, at a standard buyers can rely on batch after batch.

Poultry is an unforgiving business. A few hot nights, a lapse at the door, a feed line left empty — and a flock that looked fine on Monday is behind by Friday. So we built the farm around the things that actually move the numbers: climate in the house, clean water, feed on time, and someone walking the birds who knows what they are looking at.

The bearcat in our mark is paired with a leaf and a ploughed field. That is the whole idea — an animal raised well, on land worked well.

What we do

Chicks in. Healthy, uniform birds out.

We are a grow-out operation. Our job starts the morning the day-old chicks are unloaded and finishes when the birds leave the farm at market weight.

Brooding & early care

The first ten days decide the cycle. Pre-heated brooders, paper feed, water at the right height and temperature held steady while the chicks learn to eat and drink.

Broiler grow-out

Birds carried from placement to market weight in a single managed cycle of roughly five weeks, on a staged feed programme and continuous ventilation.

Flock health & biosecurity

A closed-farm routine: controlled entry, footbaths, dedicated farm clothing, scheduled vaccination and a full clean-and-rest between every batch.

Harvest & dispatch

Coordinated loading at the agreed weight and date, with birds counted and weighed out so the buyer and the farm end the cycle on the same figures.

Cycle reporting

Livability, feed conversion and average daily gain reported per cycle — not guessed at the end of it. Buyers and partners get the real numbers.

Contract growing

We take placements from integrators and traders who want their birds raised to spec, on a farm that keeps a record of every day they were here.

Our process

Thirty-five days, managed one day at a time.

A broiler cycle is short and nothing in it can be caught up later. This is the shape of every batch that passes through the farm.

Step 01

Prepare & preheat

House washed, disinfected and rested, fresh bedding laid, feeders and drinkers set, brooders brought up to temperature before a single chick arrives.

Before day 0
Step 02

Placement & brooding

Day-old chicks placed, counted and settled. Crop fill checked in the first hours; heat, light and water adjusted around the birds, not the calendar.

Day 0–10
Step 03

Grow-out

Brooders opened up, feed stepped from starter to grower, ventilation raised with the birds. Mortality, feed and a sample live weight recorded morning and afternoon.

Day 11–28
Step 04

Finishing

Finisher feed, close weight tracking against target, withdrawal period observed, and the harvest date set with the buyer once the flock is on weight.

Day 29–35
Step 05

Harvest & turnaround

Birds loaded calmly at night or early morning, counted and weighed out. The house is then stripped, washed and rested before the next placement.

Our standards

What a buyer is actually paying for.

Anyone can put birds in a house. The difference shows up in livability, in uniformity at harvest, and in whether the farm can tell you what happened on day nineteen.

  • Closed-farm biosecurity. Controlled entry, footbaths and farm-only clothing, with visitors kept out of the houses as a rule, not a favour.
  • Birds kept comfortable. Stocking density, ventilation and litter condition managed to the flock in front of us — a stressed bird never makes weight.
  • Responsible medication. Vaccination on schedule, treatment only on need and under guidance, withdrawal periods observed before any bird leaves.
  • A traceable cycle. Every batch is a closed record: what was placed, what was fed, what was lost, what was loaded.
  • Local first. Hiring, buying and selling in Iloilo wherever we can, because a farm is only as steady as the community around it.

Records

We run the farm on numbers, not memory.

Bearcat keeps its own flock management system. Mortality, feed drawn and an average live weight from a sampled group of birds are entered twice a day, against the building and the cycle they belong to.

Because the figures are captured as they happen, livability, feed conversion and average daily gain are calculated from the record rather than estimated after the fact. When a cycle underperforms we can usually point to the week it started — and fix it on the next placement.

It is the same system our staff use for scheduling, loading and harvest, so what the farm does and what the farm reports are the same thing.

Leadership

Behind the farm

“Good chicken is not luck. It is the same small things done properly, every single day of the cycle.”

Sueun Kim founded Bearcat Agriventure Corporation in 2025 to build a poultry operation in Iloilo that holds to a standard — clean houses, birds looked after properly, and an honest record of every batch.

The company is still young and growing deliberately: proving the system on each cycle before scaling it, rather than the other way round.

Questions

Frequently asked

What exactly does Bearcat Agriventure sell?

We raise broiler chickens from day-old chicks to market weight and supply live birds at harvest. If you are a trader, integrator, wet-market supplier or institutional buyer in Iloilo, get in touch and we will tell you what we have coming and when.

How long is one growing cycle?

Roughly five weeks from placement to harvest, depending on the target weight. Because the house is cleaned and rested between batches, the practical turnaround is a little longer than the cycle itself.

Can you take our birds on contract?

Yes — contract growing is part of what we do. Tell us the breed, the placement size and the weight you want them finished at, and we will come back on capacity and timing.

Can we visit the farm?

Not casually, and please do not take that personally. A closed farm is the cheapest disease control there is. Business visits can be arranged by appointment, with the usual biosecurity protocol at the gate.

Where are you located?

The company is based in Iloilo, Western Visayas, Philippines. Our full farm and office address is listed in the contact section below.

Are you hiring?

We take on farm staff as each placement grows. If you have poultry experience — or you are serious about learning it — send us a message through the form below.
